IT Specialist (Temporary Contract: 6–8 Months)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile IT Specialist on a temporary contract basis (6–8 months) to manage and enhance our digital infrastructure. This role involves website maintenance, editing, server and cloud management, email troubleshooting, and general IT support. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a broad understanding of IT functions and an ability to adapt to dynamic challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Maintenance & Development

  1. Perform regular updates, edits, and enhancements to the company website.
  2. Ensure website security, functionality, and performance optimization.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly.

Email & Communication Systems

  1. Address and resolve email-related issues for users.
  2. Manage email accounts, backups, and spam filters.
  3. Ensure smooth integration of email systems across devices and platforms.

Server & Cloud Management

  1. Maintain and monitor server performance, backups, and storage.
  2. Manage cloud services, including access permissions and resource optimization.
  3. Troubleshoot server and cloud-related issues.

General IT Support

  1. Assist with hardware and software installations and troubleshooting.
  2. Ensure all systems are up-to-date and comply with company policies.
  3. Provide technical support for company devices and applications.

Documentation & Reporting

  1. Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  2. Provide regular reports on website, server, and system performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equi
  2. Proven experience in website development and maintenance (knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript preferred).
  3. Strong understanding of server management, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and networking fundamentals.
  4. Familiarity with email systems (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, G Suite) and troubleshooting.
  5. Proficiency in troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  6. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 6–8 months
  • Location: on-site (GIDC, Pardi)
  • Work Hours: full-time
  • Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience
